๐ How to Report a Bug
To help us resolve issues quickly, please include the following information when reporting a bug:
1. Browser & Version
Tell us which browser you're using (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and its version number. You can find this in your browser's "About" section.
2. Device Information
Specify your device type (desktop, laptop, mobile, or tablet) and operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android).
3. Steps to Reproduce
Describe exactly what you were doing when the bug occurred. The more detailed, the better! For example: "1. Clicked on CV Template 2, 2. Switched to dark mode, 3. Tried to print, 4. Layout broke."
4. Expected vs Actual Behavior
Tell us what you expected to happen and what actually happened instead.
5. Screenshots or Screen Recording
If possible, include screenshots or a short screen recording showing the issue. Visual evidence helps us identify problems faster!

We typically respond to bug reports within 24-48 hours and prioritize critical issues that affect many users.
๐ Common Known Issues
Before reporting, check if your issue is already on our list of known bugs we're working to fix: Print margins sometimes inconsistent on Safari browser (workaround: use Chrome or Firefox). Dark mode may not persist in private/incognito browsing mode (expected behavior due to browser limitations). Some older mobile browsers (pre-2020) may not support all theme features (solution: update your browser). Language toggle might require page refresh on some devices (we're working on a fix). If your issue isn't listed here, please report it so we can investigate!

Before reporting a bug, try these quick fixes that solve most common issues: Clear your browser cache using the "Clear Cache" option in the menu, then refresh the page. Disable browser extensions temporarily to rule out conflicts (especially ad-blockers or privacy extensions). Try using a different browser to see if the issue persists. Make sure JavaScript is enabled in your browser settings. Check your internet connectionโsome features require online access. Update your browser to the latest version. If none of these help, please report the bug so we can investigate further!

We categorize bugs by severity to prioritize fixes effectively: Critical (P1) - App completely unusable or major data loss. Fixed within 24 hours. High (P2) - Important features broken, but workarounds exist. Fixed within 1-3 days. Medium (P3) - Minor features affected, minimal impact on usage. Fixed within 1-2 weeks. Low (P4) - Cosmetic issues, typos, or small inconsistencies. Fixed in regular updates. We'll let you know the priority level when we respond to your report!

Not sure if it's a bug or a missing feature? Here's the difference:
Bug:
Something that should work but doesn't. Example: "Print button doesn't respond when clicked."
Feature Request:
Something new you'd like to see added. Example: "It would be great if we could export to Word format."
